John L. Reibsane

John L. Reibsane, 76, of Temple passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading.

Born in Orwin, February 26, 1946, a son of the late Lester and June Brown Reibsane.

John was a 1964 graduate of the former Porter Tower High School. After high school, he attended Albright University.

John was an insurance agent for his own business, Reibsane Insurance Agency, Temple. He attained many insurance certifications over the years. He also was a volunteer with the Muhlenberg Ambulance Association.

He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed competitive shooting. Some of John's favorite memories were of spending time with his friends and family at his cabin in Clarks Valley, which be built.

Surviving are John's beloved wife of 26 years, Donna Schatz Reibsane; four children, Lori Reibsane Zimmerman (John), Stevens, PA, Eric Reibsane (Rhonda), Troutman, North Carolina, Dawn Reibsane Daub (Dan), Tower City, and Debra Reibsane Shutter (Mike), Lebanon; two brothers, David Reibsane (Kim), Clarks Valley and James Reibsane (Kim) Robesonia; three sisters Brenda Killinger (John), Tower City, Diane Klinger (Henry), Wiconisco and Janice O'Neil, Nebraska; eleven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for John will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin with Rev. Harold Kauffold officiating.
