Joseph Daniel Corwin

Joseph Daniel Corwin, 55, of Wiconisco, formerly of Neptune, NJ.,  passed away at 2:48 am, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at UPMC West Shore, after a two month stay, several surgeries. While a patient at the hospital, he contracted liver failure from medication and also COVID  19. He was vaccinated and boosted as well.
 
He was of the Catholic faith.
 
Joe is survived by his mother, Nancy Kurtanick, Williamstown, his father James, sisters; Tracy, Tina and brother John Womer. Niece and godchild Kaycee Joy Corwin, sister Sandra Lear, Klingerstown,  niece and godchild Jenna Joy Vitrano, Mechanicburg, nephews Joshua and Noah Vitrano, sister Michelle Kettle, niece and nephew Brook and Billy Kettle, all of New Jersey. Joey is also survived by his two friends of 15 years, Tom and Jerry, his beloved cats.
 
He was predeceased by brother, Ralph Corwin, and niece Sara Rose Vitrano, both in 2017. He was also predeceased by all of his grandparents.
 
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So it is written, so it will be.  AMEN.
 
Joey will be laid to rest privately at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Williamstown.
