Juanita M. Wren, 63, of Lykens, passed away Wednesday morning, July 12, 2023 at UPMC - West Shore, Mechanicsburg.
Born in Harrisburg, March 1, 1960, a daughter of John and Mary Weist Hoffman, Lykens. Juanita was a 1978 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School.
She worked for the former Lebro Shirt Factory, Lykens, up until its closing. She then was employed as a custodian for the Upper Dauphin School District before becoming ill.
She was a member of the Lykens United Methodist Church.
Juanita's family was the center of her world. Being a grandmother was the highlight of her life. Her son and granddaughter were her pride and joy. She was an avid gardener and could often be found working in her yard.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wren.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her son, Luke Wren (Katie Yoder), Lykens; her granddaughter she adored, Tesla Jade Wren; Tesla's mother, Emily Troup; one sister, Renee Buffington, Lykens; two brothers, Jason Hoffman, Lykens, and Rodney Hoffman, Tower City.
Following Juanita's wishes, there will be no formal services.
