Judy A. Nunemacher

Judy A. Nunemacher, 74, of Millersburg, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 16, 2025 at her home with her family by her side.

Born in Lykens, Friday, April 13, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Paul "Flash" and Anna "Dis" Shuttlesworth Travitz. 

Judy was a longtime employee of Virginia Lee Embroidery, Millersburg, where she made lifelong friends.

She attended Reigle's Bible Fellowship, Millersburg. 

Judy often reminisced about growing up in Williamstown, making lasting memories with her friends, cousins, and sister. She always enjoyed going for rides throughout the valley. Without a doubt, her family was her pride and joy. She always looked forward to their visits. Judy will be deeply missed.

In addition to he parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gail Bettinger, March 10, 2025.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry E. Nunemacher; two daughters, Diane Bixler Chiprany and her husband David, and Barbra Nunemacher Snyder and her husband Andrew; two sons, Timothy Bixler, Jr and his wife Erin, and Andrew Nunemacher; five grandchildren she adored, Zachary and Emily Chiprany, Alaina and Alan Snyder, and Hayden Bixler; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Judy's Life will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home with Pastor Benjamin Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11. Immediately following the service, a luncheon and time of fellowship will be held at the Williamstown American Legion. She will be laid to rest at a later date in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
