Kathleen "Kitty" Klinger

Kathleen "Kitty" Klinger, 81, of Valley View, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 10, 2026 at her home.

Born in Pottsville on Thursday, March 29, 1945, a daughter of the late Harry and Winifred Mars. 

Kitty was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.

Kitty enjoyed the simple things in life. Her happiest times were spent camping in Tioga County. She never met a cat that she did not love, always making sure the strays were fed and taking care of.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Klinger; two sons, Bryan Klinger, 2019, and Wesley Klinger, 2024; a brother, Glenn Mars; sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Rehrer and Joan Jordan.

Surviving are her son, Eric Klinger, Hegins; her companion of 26 years, Bruce Klinger; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View with Pastor Suzanne Elliot officiating.
