Kathy L. Beck-Ostrum

Kathy L. Beck-Ostrum, 64, of Dauphin, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at UPMC- Harrisburg.

Born and raised in Wiconisco, May 18, 1957, a daughter of the late James and Ruth Martin Beck-Nutt. Kathy was a 1975 graduate of Williams Valley High School.

She retired after 31 years of service with NAVSUP Business System Center, where she was a computer program analyst. Prior to working at the Navy Depot, Kathy worked for Central Penn Business School.

She was a former member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Wiconisco and the Order of the Eastern Star, Glen Chapter, Lykens.

Kathy will be remembered for her vibrant and cheerful personality. She had enjoyed life to the fullest, the more color, sparkle and bling the world had to offer the better. She enjoyed catering parties, cooking, baking and shopping. She was a former Longaberger consultant and proud fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. But above all, her love for her dogs were second to none, Beauty, Reggie, Kane and Razzmatazz brought her great joy throughout her life.

She is survived by her brother Randy Beck and his wife Mary Jane, Tucson, AZ, numerous cousins including; Janet Schrope, Joyce Hile and the Mace family. Kathy is also survived by her best and longtime friend, Lisa Kolecki and her husband Stan, as well as many other close friends.

A Celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.  Burial will be in the Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel. Please be sure to wear bright vibrant colors to the service, Kathy would want it no other way.
