Larry O. Oxendine, 65, of Wiconisco, passed away very unexpectedly, Thursday, July 4, 2024 at his home.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, October 15, 1958, a son of the late Angus Oxendine and Grace Klahre Shiley. Larry was a 1976 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
He was currently employed at Kaster Exteriors, where he had a strong work ethic and took great pride in his work.
Larry had a passion for collecting things and had various impressive collections including toys, matchboxes, vintage clothing, and Orioles and NASCAR memorabilia. He was an avid sports fan, the Steelers and Orioles being his favorite teams. When not working Larry could often be found weightlifting or spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Dakota Kulp, July 19, 2015.
Surviving are his companion of 32 years, Tina Kulp; a daughter, Laramie Oxendine, Wiconisco; a brother, Michael Oxendine and his wife Sandra, Lykens; numerous nephews including Matthew and Marc Oxendine; a great niece and nephew, Ruby and Montgomery.
A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel. Private burial will be in the Calvary U.M. Cemetery, Wiconisco.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home, 644 E. Grand Avenue, Tower City.
