Lee Robert Schucker, 59, of Hegins, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at his home with his wife and daughters by his side following a courageous one year battle with cancer.
Born in Pottsville on July 18, 1964, a son of the late Robert Lee and Dorothy Buffington Schucker. He was a 1983 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
Lee was a dedicated and loyal employee for over 35 years with Pleasant Valley Homes in Pine Grove, where he was currently an engineer.
He was an active and faithful member of the Armstrong Valley Bible Baptist Church, Halifax.
Family and friends were everything to Lee. Nothing made him happier then spending time with his wife, daughters and grandson. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Lee had an extensive collection of Hot Wheels Matchboxes. He also was an accomplished woodworker who could make almost anything he set his mind to do.
Lee is survived by his wife of 35 years, Alice A. Klinger Schucker; two daughters Alicia Emerich and her husband Ryan, Macungie, and Ashley Schucker, Harleysville; a grandson, Cameron Lee Emerich; a brother, Larry Schucker, Williamstown and a sister, Linda Hughes, Chambersburg; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Lee's life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 from the Armstrong Valley Bible Baptist Church, Halifax, with Pastor Stanley Helm officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 am. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow the service at the Fisherville Fire Company. In Lee's honor, please no black clothing. Be sure to wear Lee's favorite color blue. Private burial will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
