Obituary
Lorraine S. Golden, 77, of Halifax, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side, early Saturday morning, May 27, 2023 at her home.
Born in Herndon, July 1, 1945, a daughter of the late Jacob and Agnes Long.
Lorraine enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, fishing, and spending time with her beloved dogs. She could often be found sitting on her porch bird watching.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Leitzel and Agnes Cox, and a stepson, Dale Golden Jr.
Surviving are her husband, Dale Golden Sr.; one son; two daughters; two brothers, Gene and Jacob Long; one sister, Evelyn Strohecker.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Rev. Arlene Dunn officiating.
