Luther L. "Lou" Wolff, 68, of Tremont passed away Wednesday night, July 5, 2023 at his home.
Born in Tremont, November 11, 1954, a son of the late Ernest and Naomi Seitz Wolff. Lou was a 1972 graduate of Pine Grove High School.
He retired from United Metal, where he worked as a welder. Following retirement, he worked as a teacher's aid at the Schuylkill Technology Center - a job he thoroughly enjoyed.
Lou could often be found shooting sporting clays and working on and detailing cars. He was well known for smoking deer meat and giving it out to his family and friends. He also adored his two dogs, Bo and Archie. Above all else, Lou's family was the center of his world. He was his grandchildren's biggest supporter, never missing an event they were involved with. His love for his great grandson was second to none.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernie, Rick, and Gurney.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Elizabeth A. Reidler Wolff, to whom they celebrated 50 years of marriage on December 9; two sons, Luther Jr. (Bessy), Florida, and Allen (Nicole), Tremont; his five grandchildren he adored, Nicolle, Jack, Melody, AJ, and Nicholas; his great grandson, Remington; four sisters, Ruthie, Carol, Gail, and Cindy; one brother, Bruce; numerous nieces and nephews.
Following Lou's wishes, there will be no formal services.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Schuylkill Technology Center Automotive Shop, 101 Technology Dr, Frackville, PA 17931.
