Lynn J. Paul, 81, of Lykens, passed away early Sunday morning, May 22, 2022, at UPMC-Harrisburg.
Born in Williamstown, November 13, 1940, a son of the late George and Helen Keen Paul. He was a 1958 graduate of the former Williamstown High School and graduated in 1962 from Bloomsburg University, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Education.
Lynn retired in 2000 from the Upper Dauphin Area School District. He was an elementary 5th grade teacher for 40 years.
Lynn was a member of the Williamstown American Legion. In his free time, he could often be found doing crossword puzzles.
In addition to his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Paul.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Carrol L. Thomas Paul; daughter, Stephanie L. Paul and her wife Karolyn, Portland, Oregon; one sister, Evelyn Snyder (Harold), Lykens; one brother, Clair Paul (Judy), Wisconsin; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 18 at 1:00 PM from the Lykens United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Lori Betsworth officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 PM. Following services, there will be a luncheon and time of fellowship in the church social hall.
