Marcella M. Waters, 78, of Wiconisco, passed away Friday morning, June 20, 2025 at her home with her son by her side.
Born in Harrisburg on Saturday, November 16, 1946, a daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Griffin Stambaugh. She was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School.
Marcie was employed for many years as the secretary at Dr. Hodge's office in Williamstown. She spent her last 10 years of employment as the secretary for Tristan Associates in Harrisburg.
Marcie belonged to the Lykens and Wiconisco Ambulance Association, where she ran with the ambulance as an EMT for many years. She loved her time with the ambulance associations.
She enjoyed traveling and playing games on her tablet. Above all else, her family was her world.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Mark Waters; a brother, Roy Stambaugh; a sister, Mary Kay Stambaugh-Switzer.
Surviving are her son, Marcus Waters, Wiconisco; two brothers, Joseph Stambaugh (Lisa), Georgia, and Ken Stambaugh (Teri); sisters-in-laws, Gail Waters, Tower City, Melanie Waters, Wiconisco, and Susie Stambaugh; brother-in-law, David Waters, Lykens.
Following her wishes, there will be no formal services.
