Margaret M. Carl, 87, formerly of Williamstown, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, at Caring Heights Community Care & Rehab Center, Pittsburgh, with her granddaughter Jessica and her husband Richard by her side.
Born in Wiconisco, November 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Elias and Sussie Risko Maletich. Margie was a graduate of the former Wiconisco High School.
She worked for many years as a secretary for the former James Shuttlesworth Insurance Agency, Williamstown.
Margie was a member of the former Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Lykens.
Margie was a women of deep faith. She could often be found reading her Bible. She enjoyed listening to music and was a great cook. She enjoyed the last several years spending time with her great grandson, Elliott.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl, 2005; her beloved son, Michael Carl, 2011; two brothers, Elias and John Maletich.
Margie is survived by her two granddaughters, Jessica Adams and her husband, Richard, Pittsburgh, and Megan Carl, Williamstown; a great grandson, Elliott Adams; daughter-in-law, Jody Carl, Williamstown; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Viewing will be from 10-11 am at the chapel. Margie will be laid to rest privately in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
