Maria I. Ritzman, 80, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the Columbia Cottages, Palmyra.
Maria was born in Shamokin on Sunday, July 8, 1945, a daughter of the late Florian and Mildred Warno.
Maria was a graduate of Northern Virginia Community College and the University of Maryland.
She was a retired work force analyst with the United States Coast Guard, based out of Washington DC.
Maria was of the Catholic faith and a member of NARFE.
Over the years Maria enjoyed collecting elephant memorabilia and has acquired an impressive collection.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Catherine Kervisky and Theresa Joyce and brothers, Joseph Warno and Florey Guarno along with a nephew Joseph Pancerella.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Arthur Ritzman, Jr., her son Joshua Ritzman and her brother Frank Warner and her sister Phyllis Clark; two brother-in-laws, Carl and Claude Ritzman. Maria is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews she dearly loved.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Maria will be laid to rest privately in the the St. Peter's Cemetery, Fearnot.
