Marie E. Jobe, 65, of Greenfield Street, Williamstown, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, May 9th at Geisinger - Holy Spirit, Camp Hill.
Born in Harrisburg, August 19, 1954, a daughter of the late John Sr. and Alma Buggy Flynn.
Marie was a 1972 graduate of Williams Valley High School. She was employed with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 30 years, retiring as an executive secretary with the Office of the Inspector General, a job she took great pride in.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown and a social member of the Williamstown American Legion.
Marie's greatest joys were those spent with her family and friends. She loved her family immensely. She also had a great love for her pets, Abbie and Gracie.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother James "Jimmy" Flynn.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Donald S. Jobe; her daughter Mandi M. Jobe and her boyfriend Chris Lenker, Williamstown; a brother, Jack Flynn, Williamstown. Nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Marie will be laid to rest privately at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery, Williamstown with Rev. Mike Opaki officiating. Memorial donations in her name should be made to the Williamstown American Legion, 123 W. Market St. Williamstown, PA 17098.
