Marissa D. Boyer, 33, of Lykens, passed away tragically Friday afternoon, July 24, 2026 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Elizabethville.
Marissa was born on Thursday, January 14 1993, a daughter of Bridget Wolfe and the late Allen Boyer.
She attended Manheim Central High School and PA Charter School.
Marissa was employed by PA Lifesharing, where she was a home health aide. She always went above and beyond and her clients thought the world of her. She also was employed by Knorr Transportation, Elizabethville, where she drove the van for students in the Upper Dauphin School District. Marissa loved being able to spend time with the students, and they loved her back.
Without a doubt, Marissa's two sons, Bentley and Aiden, were the center of her world. There was nothing she would not do for them. Watching her boys in sports brought her great joy, and she was the secretary for the L & W Baseball Association, Lykens. To Marissa, family was everything, and she will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, and partner to the love of her life Josh. She had a special love for stray animals, especially the ones others overlooked, often saying she wanted the "ugly" ones because they were the least likely to be chosen. You could always count on Marissa to have her house decorated for every holiday, and she especially went above and beyond for Halloween. She enjoyed baking, going on day trips, family game nights, and gardening. Marissa will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her two grandfathers, Stephen Dinger and Glenn Boyer.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her partner of 12 years, Josh Webster; her two boys, Bentley and Aiden Boyer; her sisters, Victoria Moses, Mickayla Wolfe, and Brittany Boyer; her two grandmothers, Debra Dinger and Dottie Klouser (Bruce); stepmother, Jennifer Boyer; stepfather, Scott Wolfe; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Marissa's Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home, 644 E Grand Avenue, Tower City, PA 17980, to help with expenses.
