Mark E. Waters, 87, of Wiconisco, passed away early Monday morning, December 4, 2023 at his home.
Born in Harrisburg, November 29, 1936, a son of the late Vinson and Edna Shadle Waters. Mark was a 1954 graduate of the former Wiconisco High School.
He was a Korean War veteran serving in the United States Air Force from 1954-1958.
Mark was a retired tool and die maker from Reiff & Nestor, Lykens.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Mark was a life member of the Wiconisco Fire Company. He formerly was an EMT for the Lykens/Wiconisco Ambulance Association.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by brothers, Leroy, John, Vinson Jr., and George Waters; sisters, Mary Johns, Cleo Malone, and Leona Keen.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Marcella M. Stambaugh Waters; a son, Marcus S. Waters, Wiconisco; a sister, Gail Waters, Tower City; a brother, David Waters, Lykens; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark will be laid to rest privately in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors at a later date.
