Michael D. Sitlinger, 57, of Lykens, passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at his home.
Born in Harrisburg on Monday, October 16, 1967, a son of the late Ronald "Pete" and Eileen Platzer Sitlinger. He was a 1986 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School.
Mike was last employed as a truck drive with ABF and FED-EX.
He was of the Catholic Faith and a social member of the Liberty Hose Company #2, Lykens. Mike could often be found socializing with family and friends.
Surviving are his two children, Matt Sitlinger (Heather), Jonestown and Natasha Heim (Joshua), Berrysburg; a brother, Mark Sitlinger (Jamie), Oxford; a sister, Mary Bateman, Millersburg; four grandchildren, Kaide and Kora Heim, and Kennedy and Anistyn Sitlinger; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. A visitation will be held form 10-11 at the chapel. Please dress casually, as Mike would want it no other way. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at 12:00 pm at the Valley Lighthouse, 105 Main Street, Lykens, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mike's name should be made to the Liberty Hose Company #2, 553 S 2nd St, Lykens, PA 17048.
