Michael Roy Snyder

Michael R. Snyder, 67, of Pine Grove, formerly of Elizabethville, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his home.

Born in Elizabethville, July 19, 1954, a son of the late Roy and Alice Spicher Snyder. He was a graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School.

Mike and his family were the owners of the former MARS Footwear, Elizabethville. He recently retired as a warehouse manager from Up Front Footwear, Mount Joy.

He was an avid dirt track race fan, even owning his own car at one time. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, baseball and his cats; Orange Juice and Tipsy. He formerly coached the Elizabethville Teener Baseball team for many years. But above all, his family meant the world to him, he was extremely proud of his three sons and his grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving companion of 35 years, Tracey M. Warfel, three sons; Bryan Snyder and his wife Nancy, Pottsville, Michael Snyder, Lock Haven and Keith A. Snyder and his wife Jo Anna, Halifax, 5 grandchildren he adored; Cheyenne, Cody, Hailey, Bryleigh, and Haelyn Snyder, a sister; Alice Forney and her husband Larry, Elizabethville, a niece, aunt, uncle and many cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
