Michael J. Zimmerman, 31, of Tower City, passed away suddenly, Sunday March 22nd.
He was born in Harrisburg, July 7, 1988.
Mike was a 2007 graduate of Williams Valley High School and attended Bloomsburg University.
He was a drywaller for his father's business, Zimmerman Drywall.
Mike was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Millersburg.
Some of Mike's happiest times were at the camp along the Juniata River in Newport. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and skiing. His love for his daughter was immense, he was always talking and telling stories about her. He also took great pride and enjoyed working with the former Sky Shooters Display.
He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, James Savidge and Jack Zimmerman.
Surviving are his father, Jack Zimmerman and his wife Jean, Tower City; his mother, Tammie Savidge Klinger and her husband Steve, Pink Hill, NC; his daughter, Lacie Jane Zimmerman and her mother, Haley Zimmerman, Halifax. Maternal grandmother, Joan Savidge and her companion, Mark Romberger, Tower City; Paternal grandmother Lois Zimmerman, Pine Grove, a sister, Nicole Hoover and her husband Jason, Dominican Republic; three step-sisters, Heather Stakem and her husband Adam, Tower City; Brooke Hockenbroch and her husband Adam, Tower City and Lauren Nikolaisen and her husband Torgier, Florida; a step-brother, Alex Pribilla and his wife Andrea, Nevada. Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Mike's life will be held, Monday, July 6th at 10:30 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Mark Hoffman. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a fund set up for his daughter, Lacie Zimmerman, checks payable care of her grandfather, Jack Zimmerman, 40 Thompson Street, Tower City, PA 17980.
