Patricia A. Schaeffer

Patricia A. Schaeffer, 77, of Lykens, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening, December 10, 2025.

Born in Sheridan on Saturday, February 21, 1948, a daughter of the late George and Ruth Evans Fauber.

Pat attended Williams Valley School District and Harrisburg Area Community College. She was a retired nurse's aide with local hospice organizations.

She was a member and past officer of the Tower City American Legion Auxiliary and also had been a member of the Women of the Moose, Tower City Lodge.

She was an avid reader and could often be found swimming in the summertime. Pat was an extremely proud 'Mem" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, always looking forward to babysitting them. Her family meant the world to her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Gary Fetterhoff and Mervin Schaeffer. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Raymond "Buddy" Fauber.

Surviving are her two sons, Gary Fetterhoff, with whom Pat resided with in Lykens, and Todd Fetterhoff and his wife Tracy, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; a step daughter, Joan Schaeffer, Lykens; four grandchildren, Dr. Kelly Oxendine, Dr. Dustin Fetterhoff, Chelsea Goldman, and Rylee Fetterhoff; four great grandchildren, Damian, Montgomery, Zelda and Josie.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 12:30 PM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Viewing will be from 11:30-12:30 at the chapel. Pat will be laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery, Muir.
