Patsy A. Trutt, 86, of Halifax, passed away early Thursday morning, April 9, 2026 at the Heritage Mills Personal Care Home.
Born in Halifax on Wednesday, January 17, 1940, a daughter of the late Lynn and Winfred Stoneroad Bowman.
Patsy was a retired certified nursing assistant, working for Susquehanna Lutheran Nursing Home, Millersburg.
She attended Armstrong Valley Baptist Church.
Patsy will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was truly the center of the world. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, playing cards and watching game shows as well as cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph "Norm" Trutt, 2014; a son, Ralph "Butch" Jr., 1980; a brother, Terry Bowman.
Surviving are her four children, Teena Sweigard and her husband Dale, Halifax, Dixie Fesig and her husband Craig,, West Hanover Township, Tracy Cox and her husband Larry, Halifax, and David Trutt and his fiancee Michelle Lebo, Halifax; eleven grandchildren, Tara, Renee, Brooke, Brent, Brandi, Sami, Myranda, Morgan, Allison, Dawson, and Paige; a stepgranddaughter, Peyton; twenty eight great grandchildren; her sister, Candace Paul, Halifax.
A Celebration of Patsy's Life will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Word of Life Chapel, Halifax with Pastor Zach Willis officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the church. Patsy will be laid to rest in Longs Cemetery, Halifax.
