Regina Sophia Raudenbush, 93, of Tower City, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Providence Place, Pine Grove.
Born in Lykens, December 7, 1930, a daughter of the late Samuel and Barbara Breit Gentile. She was a graduate of the former Lykens High School.
She was a retired seamstress from the local garment industry
Regina was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, Tower City. She was also a member of the Tower City American Legion Auxiliary.
Regina will be remembered for her love for her family and her infectious laughter. She enjoyed sewing, doing jigsaw puzzles, working in her garden and bird watching. She always looked forward to spending time at her camp in Halifax.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert, in 2016 and a brother Eugene Gentile.
She is survived by her five children, Barbara Kauffman, North Carolina, Jane Smith (Daryl), Harrisburg,, Harry Raudenbush (Linda),Tower City, Marie Artz (Marvin), Herndon; Robert Raudenbush (Faith), Port Allegany One brother, Samuel Gentile, Tower CIty. 9 grandchildren, Brandy Tunningley, Amber Schmidt , Nathan Houtz, Nena Shade, Lara Hege, Derek Raudenbush, Adam Artz, Zane Raudenbush and Kayla Johnson; 17 great grandchildren, Emily and Connor Tunningley, David, Madison and Samuel Schmidt, Hanna Houtz, Grayson and Paisley Shade, Kailyn, Malia and Tommy Hege, Briar Farrell, Holly, Laurel and Willow Raudenbush, Olivia Manrique and Everett Johnson. Nieces and nephews.
Regina will be laid to rest privately in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
