Ronald B Daub

Ronald "Pa" Bendigo Daub, 86, of Muir, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Orwin, October 3, 1935, he was one of the triplet sons of the late Harold A. and Grace Bendigo Daub. The Daub triplets were headline news in 1935 as they were all born at home not knowing there would be a multiple birth.

Ron was a 1953 graduate of Porter Township High School. He was a retired machinist at the former Richmond Screw and Anchor. Ron was also a bus driver, mechanic, and a hunter's education instructor.

He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton and the Muir Fire Company. 

He enjoyed the outdoors, camping along the Susquehanna River and trips to the cottage in Canada. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, feeding the birds and making jewlery. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, playing the harmonica and loved a great practical joke. Ron loved his dogs Lacy and Lucy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marie Machamer Daub, 2015; a son, Dr. Barry Daub, 2015, three brothers, William, Roger and Richard Daub, a great granddaughter, Paisley Daub.

Surviving are his four sons; Brad Daub (Kathy), Tower City, Harold Daub (Marie) Halifax, Dan Daub (Dawn), Tower City and Rusty Daub (Rhonda) Ocean Pines, MD; a daugther-in-law, Bunny Daub, Syracuse, NY. 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.  Nieces, nephews and many friends.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm from St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin with Pastor William Romberger officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's name should be made to the Marie Daub Scholarship Fund,  c/o Williams Valley High School, 10330 Rt. 209 Rd., Tower City, PA 17980.
