Roselyn Lodge Obituary

Roselyn H. Lodge, 82, of Elizabethville, went home to be with the Lord with her family by her side on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, on Saturday, October 9, 1943, a daughter of the late Spencer and Lucy Stancill Osborne.

Roselyn began her employment at Aberdeen Proving Ground, where she met her husband, James K. Lodge. She retired from Penn National Insurance Company, where she worked for over 19 years.

She was an active and faithful member of David's Community Bible Church, Millersburg, where she was a member of the choir and the women's group. Roselyn was also a member of Gideon's International Association.

Roselyn will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Her baking skills were second to none. She could often be found scrapbooking and making her own homemade cards that she would send to her loved ones. Roselyn also has various collections of trinkets and memorabilia. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Byers.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, James K. Lodge; her three daughters, Deborah Lodge, Highspire, Rebecca Partchey, Lewistown, and Abigail Slider (Mark), Morgantown; seven grandchildren, Micah (Vivian), Christa (Dylan), Jeremiah, Ella, Daniel, Luke, Nathaniel; three sisters, Carolyn Simms, Bel Air, Maryland, Sharon Hall, Reidsville, NC, and Opal Fleming, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one brother, William Watson, Reedsville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM from David's Community Bible Church, 1072 State Route 25 Millersburg, with her pastor, Allan Briggs officiating. Viewing will be from 9-10 at the church. If you are unable to attend the service, it will be livestreamed on the David's Community Bible Church Facebook page and the Dimon Funeral Home Facebook page. Light refreshments will immediately follow the service in the church social hall. Roselyn will be laid to rest privately in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
