Sheila Stoneroad Obituary

Sheila D. Stoneroad, 50, of Halifax, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at her home after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer.

She was born in Harrisburg on Sunday, May 4, 1975, a beloved daughter of Jerome and Bonita Kissinger of Millersburg.

Sheila graduated from the Halifax High School in 1994. She then went on to beauty school where she became a certified barber and beautician.

Her family always was her top priority, even during her illness. She fought so hard for the past five years to spend as much time she could with them, especially her boys. They were everything to her. Sheila took pride into decorating her home and spending time in her yard gardening. She looked forward to every camping trip with her family. Her dogs Ginger and Buster brought her much happiness and were always by her side.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her high school sweetheart, being together for 34 years and married for 24, Lewis Stoneroad, Jr.; her two sons, Logan Stoneroad (Kennedi Miller) and Landon Stoneroad, both at home; her sister, Jill Benner (Terry Jr.), Halifax; father-in-law, Lewis Stoneroad Sr. (Marlene Hurrell), Halifax; sister-in-law, Autumn Dankos, Shippensburg; six nieces and one nephew; many dear friends.
