Steven C. Martz

Steven C. Martz, 58, of Millersburg, passed away suddenly Saturday, August 27, 2022 at his home. 

Born in Harrisburg, April, 25, 1964, a son of the late Ronald and Lorraine Snyder Martz. He was a 1982 graduate of Millersburg High School.

Steve was a self-employed farmer who took great pride in his family farm. He was also a co-owner of Reed Oil Company, Millersburg, where he formerly worked as a delivery man.

He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Millersburg, the Millersburg American Legion, Millersburg VFW, and the Millersburg Loyal Order of the Moose. Steve was also a member of the Susquehanna Lodge # 364 F&AM, Millersburg, and the Tall Cedars.

Steve was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, and spending time camping with his friends and family. He enjoyed spending time and watching his nephew's dogs, Rosco and Lilly. Steve was always the life of the party and will be remembered by many.

Surviving are his brother, Kim Martz, and his wife Richie, Millersburg; a sister, Judy Minnich, wife of the late Gary Minnich, Millersburg; nieces and nephews, Kamarin Lukunich (Chris), Preston Minnich (Lindsey), Kyle Martz (Jessica), and Korbin Martz (Autumn); one great niece and five great nephews; many friends.

Services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City, with Pastor Amanda Bressler officiating. Visitation will be from 9-11 at the chapel. Following the service everyone is invited to the Millersburg American Legion where there will be a luncheon and time of fellowship in memory of Steve.
