Steven T. Worhacz, 66, of Lykens, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Gino Merli Veteran’s Center, Scranton.
Born in Lykens, August 30, 1956, a son of the late Theodore and Romaine Williard Worhacz. Steve was a 1974 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School.
Steve was a retired truck driver from J&R Schugel. He previously was a driver for Metal Industries.
He was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Iraq War.
Steve was a lifetime member of the Gratz VFW.
He could often be found playing darts in different local leagues and watching NASCAR racing. Steve was a huge fan of the Oklahoma Sooners and the Minnesota Vikings.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Worhacz-Dietrich, 2016.
Surviving are his two sons, Steve Worhacz and Mason Worhacz; three sisters, Beverly Zurat (Joe), Jane Schwak (Rick), and Sandy Shadle; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral procession will leave the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City at 10:45 am Wednesday, July 19, 2023 to the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, where services with military honors will begin at 11:30 am.
