Susan P. Maletich

Susan P. Maletich, 69, of Wiconisco, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at the UPMC-Community Osteopathic, Harrisburg after a thirteen day courageous fight against COVID-19.
 
Born in Lykens, June 23 1951, a daughter of late George and Ann Kawaski Shreffler.  Sue was a 1970 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School.
 
She was currently a receptionist with Red Fox Enterprises, Elizabethville.
 
Her life revolved around her family, but without a doubt, her grandchildren were her everything.  She was the best Nana in the world.    She could often be found doing crafts, something she took great pride in.
 
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Shreffler and a grandson, Alex Mattis.
 
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Joseph T. Maletich; three children, Heather Maletich, Lykens; Cortney Alvord and her husband Larry, Wiconisco and Jarrod Maletich and his wife Tasha, Madison, North Carolina; her beloved grandchildren, Bailey Mattis, Jordan and Jayden Maletich; two sisters, Andrea Underkoffler, Lykens and Jeanne Williard, Loyalton. Nieces and nephews.
 
Memorial services following all CDC guidelines will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Rev.  Lori Betsworth officiating.  Visitation will be from 2-3 PM at the chapel.
