Terry L. Buffington

Terry L. Buffington, 78, of Lykens, passed away Thursday evening, September 26, 2024 at his home.

Terry was born in Lykens, on Wednesday, September 25, 1946, a son of the late Edward and Dorothy Shiley Buffington.

He was a retired superintendent at Collinson, Inc, Exton.

He was a member of the Liberty Hose Company #2, Lykens, the Knights of Columbus, Lykens, the Newport American Legion, and the Millerstown Moose, where he belong to the Moose riders.

Terry will be remembered as being an extremely reliable person, always willing to lend a hand to his family and friends. He had a talent for working with his hands and could often be found tinkering in his shed. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to the races, cheering on Rusty Wallace and Denny Hamlin. He also enjoyed watching football and was a fan of Auburn and the Raiders. Terry was at his happiest spending time along the river at his camp.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife, Debbie Rodichok Buffington, 1976; four sisters, Nancy Ward, Linda Baldwin, Dorothy Herb, and Diane Jones.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Renee Hoffman Buffington; two daughters, April Frantz (Jeremy Ferree) and Aimee Vernosky (Jason); two sons, Terry Sims (Theresa) and Rodney Sims (Cindy); nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.

Terry will be laid to rest at the convenience of the family in the Calvary Cemetery, Wiconisco.
