Titus B. Enders

Titus B. Enders, 89, of Halifax, passed away suddenly, Sunday evening, March 26, 2023 at UPMC, Harrisburg.

Born in Halifax, June 1, 1933, a son of the late Earl and Beulah Bowman Enders. Titus was a 1951 graduate from the Halifax High School. He attended Penn State University and Gettysburg College.

He was retired from the United States Postal Service, Harrisburg. 

Titus was an active member of the Zion Stone United Methodist Church, Halifax, where he served on the Cemetery Committee for many years.

He was a member of the Robert Burns Lodge #464, Harrisburg, the Harrisburg Consistory, the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Millersburg Forest, and the Millersburg American Legion.

Titus devoted many hours with the Dauphin County Parks and Recreation. He also served as a guide at Fort Hunter. 

Titus will be remembered as a wonderful husband, dad and pap who devoted his life to his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed going to Penn State, traveling, archeology, and was an avid history buff. He and his late wife Jean enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida together.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Jean Paul Enders, 2021 and a son, Ritchie Enders, Sr. 1997.

Surviving are a daughter, Julie Enders; four grandchildren, Ritchie Jr., Joe, Jason and Desra Enders; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandson.

Memorial services will be held Saturday April 1, 2023 at 4:00 PM from the Zion Stone United Methodist Church, Halifax with Pastor Joanne Konick-McMahan officiating. Visitation will be from 3-4 at the church. Private burial will be in the church cemetery.
