Todd J. "Spooker" Null, 61, of Tower City, passed away Friday morning, February 14, 2025 at Carolyn's Hospice Residence, Harrisburg, after recently being diagnosed with cancer.
Todd was born on Thursday, March 28, 1963, in Pottsville, a son of the late Charles Edward and Rubena Reightler Null.
He was a 1981 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
Todd was a self-employed contractor.
He was an active member of the Sons of the Tower City American Legion, where he currently served as Acting Adjutant and was previously a Commander for the Sons. He could often be found at the Legion helping out wherever needed. He proudly carried the American flag at every parade or event the Legion held, and he was an integral part in the flag retirement ceremony. Todd was also a member of the Tower City Loyal Order of the Moose.
He enjoyed shooting pool and darts, belonging to numerous leagues throughout the years. Todd also belonged to the Winter League for cornhole with the Tower City Legion.
He was a fan of baseball and football and could often be found cheering on the Pirates and Steelers.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Brian, and Scott Null.
He is survived by his son, Todd Null, Jr., Millersburg; two grandsons, Brantley and Bryson; five brothers, Allen Miller and his wife Georgie, Dauphin, Harry Miller and his wife Sharon, Harrisburg, Gerald Miller, Harrisburg, Robert Miller and his wife Missy, Florida, and Kevin Null and his wife Deb, Tower City; five sisters, Tina Capiak and her husband Mike, Seltzer, Cindy Snyder and her husband Dwayne, Lykens, Janet Null, California, Wendy Miller and her husband David, Muir, and Linda Raudenbush and her husband Harry, Tower City; three sisters-in-laws, Loretta, Linda and Elaine Null; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A Celebration of Todd's life will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home with Pastor William Romberger officiating. A visitation will be held from 2-3 at the chapel.
On February 1st, the Tower City American Legion held a very successful benefit to support Todd. During this benefit, money was raised to help cover a variety of Todd's expenses. In memory of Todd's life and in honor of the benefit and its mission, donations can be made to the Tower City American Legion (the organization that held the benefit) 2 Clarks Valley Rd, Tower City, PA 17980 or to Compassion in the Valley (an organization that helps with funeral expenses for families in need) 9 N.
