Vickie J. Shoffler

Vickie J. Shoffler, 69, of Millersburg, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the UPMC West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.

Born in Carlisle, on Friday, October 28, 1955, a daughter of the late Mervin Bouder and Gail Hockenberry. 

Vickie was employed as a certified nursing assistant, last working at the Susquehanna Center, Harrisburg. She was also a former EMT with the Halifax Ambulance Association.

She was a former Girl Scout leader. Vickie had a special talent for cross-stitching and sketching. She loved her dogs, Precious and Lola.

In addition to he parents, she was preceded in death by infant children, Courtney and Heather Shomper, and Christopher Shaffer; two brothers.

She is survived by her children, Trudy Thompson (Verlin Miller), Millersburg, and Robert Thompson (Angie), Harrisburg; several grandchildren, including, Christopher and Juan; numerous nieces and nephews, including Tara Bouder.

Following Vickie's wishes, she will be laid to rest privately with her infant children in the Fairview Cemetery, Enders.
