William F. Cameron, Jr., 64, of Auburn, passed away early Friday morning, April 5, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.
Born in Philadelphia, March 3, 1960, a son of the late William Sr. and Margaret Haig Cameron. Bill attended Frankford High School.
He was of the Catholic faith and was an alter server growing up.
Bill was an extremely hard worker, working in roofing for over 35 years. He began his career with McGinnis Roofing and eventually started his own company, Pay Less and Save More Roofing.
He will be remembered for his love for music and Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles. He enjoyed scratch-off tickets and spending time with his dogs and could often be found going on walks or drives with his pets. Bill had a very close relationship with his dog Roxie. He was affectionately known as "Pops" to most of his community. Above all else, his daughters were his world and he loved spending time with them.
Surviving are his two daughters, Kayla and Ashlee Cameron, Auburn; his stepdaughter whom he helped raise, Brianna Sherick, Philadelphia; three siblings, Kathy Fairchild and her husband Larry, Lehighton, Terri Kennedy, Philadelphia, and Chuck Cameron and his wife Tara, Philadelphia; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held from 1-2 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from the Auburn Church of God, 230 Market St, Auburn, PA 17922 with Pastor Kerry Duke officiating. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at the church.
