William O. Diegert

William O. Diegert, 81, of Frankford, Delaware, formerly of Tower City, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Hospice Center of Delaware.

Born in Rockaway, Maryland, December 28, 1940, a son of the late Otto P. and Irene Krause Diegert.

Bill was a retired welder with the former Bethlehem Steel.

He was an avid deep sea fisherman.  Bill was a member of the Orwin Gun Club and Muir Fire Company.

Surviving are his wife Gloria S. Masterson Diegert, to whom they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in September; three children, Gary R. Diegert and his wife Susan, Tower City, Sharon Romberger and her husband Ronnie, Muir, and Craig Diegert, Delaware; a sister, Jane LaRussa and her husband John, Elyria, Ohio.  Eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.  Viewing will be from 1-2 at the chapel.
