William Gauntlett Obituary

William T. Gauntlett, 78, of Tremont passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pottsville.

Born in Tremont, July 18, 1944, a son of the late William J. and Anna Carl Gauntlett. Bill was a 1962 graduate of the former Tremont High School. Following graduation from Tremont, he graduated from Trade School in Williamsport.

He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Upon his discharge from the Army, Bill began working for IBM in Kingstown, NY. He retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Public Welfare.

He is survived by a brother, Donald Gauntlett, two sisters, Judy Wagner and her husband Ernest, and Jane Boyer and her husband Steve, all of Tremont; two nieces two nephews.

Bill will be laid to rest privately with military honors in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
