Allen C. Barry, 72, of Muir, passed away Tuesday at the Tremont Health & Rehabilitaion Center.

Born in Pottsville, April 22, 1943, a son of the late Charles and Mildred Goss Barry.

Allen was a graduate of the former Tremont High School;  He was a Navy Veteran of Vietnam War.

He retired after 40 years of service at Richmond Screw and Anchor, Tremont.  

He was a life member of the Donaldson Fire Company.     Allen was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and trips to Canada and Tioga County.

Surviving are his wife, Tina M. Bopp Barry; four children, Kelly Gerber, Atlanta, Georgia; Kathy Barry, Friedensburg:  Ashley Shuttlesworth (Jeff), Williamstown and Tim Kocher, Beavertown.  two step-children, John Neiman, Tremont and Dorothy Wesnoski, Muir;  Grandchildren, Nikki, Casey, Cory, Bubba, Tre, Tytan; Jessica, Tiffany and Alyssa; great grandchildren, Peyton and Kaydence.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 2nd at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Paul Rothermel.  Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemtery.  Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Alzheimer's Association 2595 Interstate Dr, Ste 100 Harrisburg, PA 17110.
