I got to know Ben as a student in my Writing in the Social sciences class at Penn State. Always on time, always prepared, always with insightful questions, Ben was a model for all of us. Even though he had his daily struggles, he managed to be a positive contributor to our collaborative learning. If anyone else complained about the workload, I'd simply turn to him and ask: "Ben, do you have anything to say about that?" I was hoping to perhaps see him in future classes; his absence will be felt.

My deepest sympathy to everyone and prayers. Benji was always a good friend to me and was best friends to my husband( James Robinson), I will miss him alot. I am glad I got to know him as well as take care of him when he was at the nursing home.
