JoAnn M. Hoke, 79, of Tower City passed away Sunday at the Harrisburg Hospital.

Born in Joliett, March 19, 1936, a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Dempniak.

JoAnn was a graduate of the former Porter Twp. High School.  She was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband John, February 1, 2015; a brother, Frank Dempniak.

Surviving are two children, Debra A. Williams and her husband Joel, Wiconisco and John B. Hoke and his wife Beverly, Tower City; four grandchildren, Heather Klinger, Michael Houtz, Serenity and Sierra Hoke. 5 great grandchildren; one sister, Lorraine Jones, Texas.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 1st at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Pastor Joel McGarvey. Burial will be private in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:00 am at the chapel.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Porter Tower EMS, P.O. Box 33, Tower City, PA 17980.
