Just a short note to John's son Kelly who was my director for many years at Baywood Court, CA. It was a privilege to know of your devotion to your father, hear of the fun you had when you visited him and his independence and love of dancing. I also recall the stories from WWII. Your family posting on the WWII website encouraged me to create a listing for my own father. Kelly, you may be proud that your father was such a strong influence in your life. It was with joy and honor we got to know John around 2009. John's friendly disposition, love for dancing, and smile made us instant fan of his! Bonnie...I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. I know how much you loved him and he loved you. I will never forget all the fun we had with your dad.. My first job was at the Milk Bar & I have a lot of memories of that time. John was a fair & honest boss who more times than not had a smile on his face that usually got bigger whenever his kids or grandkids were around. I'm sure he'll be greatly missed. You're all in my prayers & I'm sorry for your loss.
