Margaret M. Markovich, 88, of Tower City, passed away Saturday at the Geisinger Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Born in Tower City, August 7, 1927, a daughter of the late Charles and Dora Pierson Wood.
Margaret was a 1945 graduate of the former Tower City High School.
She was a retired seamstress from the garment industry, where she belonged to the ILGWU.
She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and doing puzzles.
She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Markovich and a brother Lewis Wood both in 2009.
Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca A. Stover, with whom she resided; two granddaughters, Kristina Stover and her fiancé Earl Eichert Jr., Sacramento and Rachel Stover, Tower City. She is also survived by her beloved grand dog, Jaxon.
Services will be held Thursday, February 4th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. To sign the guest book visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com.
