Ice was a wonderful gentleman. I loved seeing him when I bartended at the Legion. He always had a smile and sparkling eyes. Since his birthday was May 30th, he joked that we had a big celebration for his birthday every year for Memorial Day. I wil miss him.

Ice was a true pleasure to be around. I've known Ice for many, many years. From the days' when i would go with my dad to Smith's to the days of tending bar at the Legion. Always had kind words to say - I'm sure he and Uncle Barnie are drinking a class of homemade wine as i am writing this - Will miss seeing and talking to him - Saturday afternoon shifts at the Legion will not be the same.

my heart goes out to the family. Just loosing Rose, makes you think did they have
this planned. Ice man, was Rose's Buddy through and through. I met him in 94, and got to know him through Rose and my, my what pleasure. He will not hurt any longer. Please accept my condolence.

We would like to thank the boys..Bob Joe and Jim for taking time from your lives to take care of Uncle Ices affairs and of Ice himself. He left this world knowing he was loved. Ice will be missed but never forgotten along with our parents who were at heavens gate to greet him. RIP Uncle Ice you had one heck of a life!

Ice was a very big part of my childhood. When my Demi and Pap Collins owned Collins' Bar he was with our family and always was a joy to be around......such a kind man.
