Ronald P. Hand, 67, of Philadelphia passed away suddenly Monday from heart failure. 
 
Born in Philadelphia, July 24, 1949, a son of the late Jonathan and Betty Hoffman Hand.
 
He was an United States Army Veteran.   Ron was currently employed in the maintenance department in the Hospitality Industry in Philadelphia.
 
He is survived by a brother, Jonathan Hand (Ginny);   a sister,  Betty Ann Layton (Bill);  Nephew, Jonathan Hand and Niece, Rebecca Rose.  Numerous cousins in the Tower City area.
 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt.  Burial with military honors will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.  Viewing will be from 10-11 Saturday at the chapel.   In lieu of flowers donations should be made to American Heart Association,  5455 N.
