Susan K. Niehenke,  63, of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, May 15th at the Harrisburg Hospital.

Born in Harrisburg, June 14, 1951, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Knobl  Gummo.

Susan formerly worked as a dietary aide at the former Villa Teressa Nursing Home.

She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Parish, Harrisburg.

Surviving are her husband of thirty years, Dennis H. Niehenke; two step-sisters, Mary Miller, Harrisburg and Dorothy, Washington; a step-brother, Charles Gummo, Ohio.  Several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 26th at 11:00 am from St. Catherine Laboure Parish, Harrisburg.  Burial will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Viewing will be from 10:30-11 at the parish.   In lieu of flowers donations should be made to her church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg PA 17111 or Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2080 Lingelstown Rd., #104  Harrisburg PA 17110.  Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Tower City has charge of arrangements.  To sign the guest book visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com
