Harlan J. Davis, 91, of Williamstown, passed away Saturday at the Heritage Mill Personal Care Home, Tower City.
Born in Williamstown, October 9, 1923, a son of the late George and Emma Reed Davis. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran.
He was of the Lutheran Fiath.
Harlan retired as a machinist from the Swab Wagon Company, Elizabethville.
He was of the Lutheran Faith. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren; was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and walking in the mountains. He also enjoyed drawing.
He was predeceased by his wife Beatrice Frank Davis, 1997.
Surviving are four daughters, Cindy Bixler (Dennis), Williamstown; Wendy Naugle, Macungie; Sheri Kollar, Emmaus; Paula Diehl (Edward), Williamstown; three sons, Kevin Davis, (Marci), CA; Alan Davis (Rose), Millersburg and Keith Davis (Melissa), Williamstown; a sister, Jere Sully, Williamstown; 15 Grandchildren 16 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 11th at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Rev. Kathleen Kuehl. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Kids Cafe, c/o Immanuel Lutheran Church, East Street, Williamstown, PA 17098.
