I want to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jamie Barry, especially to Ashley and Kaelynn, Bill and Sue Barry, Jane and Francis Androshick, Kevin Barry and his family, Adam Barry and his family, Jena Androshick; and my brothers and sisters at the Donaldson Fire Company, Ravine Fire Company and Newtown Fire Company.
Jamie, you will be greatly missed by the communities you served well as a firefighter, the fire departments that you served with and by me for the friendship we shared. You were an intelligent, skilled and dedicated firefighter. Whether you were working under me when I was the O.I.C. of a scene or I working under you when you were the O.I.C. or when we were shoulder to shoulder working in tandem, I always knew I was with a competent and skilled firefighting-EMT. I had the pleasure of being your instructor at EMT school and at CPR classes and your skills were “Top Shelf”. I valued your knowledge of equipment when we would meet to discuss future plans of our fire company, what we should purchase to improve ourselves on our small budgets and how we could best utilize the equipment we already have. Granted, we did not always see eye to eye, but in those times, we approached our differences as adults, address the situation as professionals and resolved the issues as a team.
You may have left us physically, but you will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts. As you look upon us from Heaven, as we are rolling out to the next call, I am sure I will hear your voice in my head, reminding me, “Read the Smoke”, “Check the Floor”, “Watch that Ceiling” and “”Maintain C-Spine”. I will try my best to do so.
You have answered your final call, brother. As we continue to “pick up the irons, throw the nozzle over our shoulders and grab the med bag”, you can rest easy now……we got it from here.
Until we meet again on that Final Overhaul in Heaven, God Bless, God Speed and Fly High Jamie.

My heart is sadness by the loss of Jamie. May the lord bless you all with strength as you grieve the loss of son, brother, dad, companion and a friend. Remember all the great memories you all have of him and share them with Kaelynn as she grows up so she knows what a wonderful guy her daddy was. I know I will remember all the memories I have of him. May he watch and guard all of his family and friends until we meet him again. From now on when a butterfly is by you, just remember that is Jamie watching over us. Your smile will be missed by all.

I am in shock still at the untimely passing of such a great person, Jamie and I grew up together and had a lot of fun when we were kids. I haven't seen him in a long time as life has a way of people spreading out and going in all different directions, I will always have the memories of our childhood together. Jamie was a great person who had a huge heart and always helped others every chance he could, life is just not fair. Bill and Sue you have my most sincere condolences.

I just want to say how deeply sorry I am to hear of Jamie's passing. I wish there were words to truly offer comfort at this time, but I know there is not. Ashley and Family and Bill and Sue,
My heart is sad and I pray for strength for all of you. Jamie touched my heart 5 & 1/2 months ago on a journey to Hershey and will remain in my heart. I am so happy that I got to know him, if only for a short time. Many prayers for all of you!
