Jamie W. Barry, 35, of Donaldson, passed away Monday night at the Hershey Medical Center. 

Born in Pottsville, October 26, 1979, a son of William and Susan Zerbe Barry, Tremont.

Jamie was a graduate of Pine Grove High School.  He was employed as a material handler at Big Lots, Tremont.

He was of the Protestant faith; an active member of the Donaldson Fire Company where he was an engineer; a member of the Ravine Fire Company where he had served as assistant chief and the Newtown Fire Comapny where he had served as chief.  He was also a member of the Bakers Dozen Hunting Club.

He was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and fishing; he also enjoyed being with his many friends at the various fire companies.

His pride and joy was his daughter, Kaelynn, whom he dearly loved.

He was predeceased by Paternal Grandfather, Guy Barry and his maternal grandparents, Chester and Norma Zerbe.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion, Ashley J. Androshick, with whom he resided; his daughter, Kaelynn Barry at home; two brothers, Kevin Barry and his wife Vicki, Donaldson and Adam Barry and his companion Angela, Tremont. Paternal grandmother, Doris Barry, Tremont; 2 nephews, Noah and Nathan; a niece, Mackenzie; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 12th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Tower City.  Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.  Visitation will be from 9-11 at the chapel.  Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home, 644 E.
