Donald F. Coles, Sr., 86, of Williamstown, passed away Thursday morning.
Born in Dayton, September 19, 1930, a son of the late Edward and Erma Minnich Coles.
Donald was a 1948 graduate of the former Williamstown High School. He was a United States Army Veteran.
He was a retired foreman from TRW / Chromolloy, Harrisburg.
He was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church, a 60 year member of the Ashlar Lodge, F&AM, 570, Lykens; Harrisburg Consistory AASR, Williamstown Liberty Hose Company #1 and the Williamstown American Legion. Donald was also a charter member of the Williamstown Area EMS.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Etta Calnon Coles; a daughter, Cheryl A. Neidlinger and her husband David, Williamstown; a son, Donald F. Coles, Jr., and his wife Denise, Tower City; a granddaughter, Shelby Stence and her husband, William, Elizabethville; a great grandson, Benjamin Fennell; step grandchildren, William and Steven Tucci; William, Ian and Ashley Stence; two step great-great grandchildren, Patrick Tucci and Emma Stence.
Masonic services will begin at 11:00 am Monday, November 7th from the Williamstown United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Monica Romberger. Burial with military honors will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the church. Memorial donations in his memory should be made to the Williamstown United Methodist Church, 203 N. East Street, Williamstown PA 17098.
