Patricia A. Updegrove Burger, 76,  of  Harrisburg, formerly of Williamstown passed away Monday at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Williamstown, December 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen Lentz McAuliffe.

Pat was a graduate of the former Williamstown Catholic High School.

She was last employed in the Cafeteria at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic School.

She was a member of the St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Harrisburg. She was a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown.

Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She also loved going to the beach. 

She was predeceased by her first husband of 34 years, Richard Updegrove, 1994; a sister, Mary Fetterhoff; four brothers, Bernard, Joseph, Francis and Edward McAuliffe.

Surviving are her three children, Richard Updegrove (Andrea), Tower City; Teresa Stalnecker, (Scott), Harrisburg and Eric Updegrove (Patti), Hanover. 5 Grandchildren, Eric and Zack Updegrove; Donald and Alyson Stalnecker and Morgan Updegrove; a great granddaughter Grace; her husband, Thomas Burger;  a sister, Agnes Moss, Tower City; a brother James McAuliffe, NJ;  Nieces and Nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 15th at 10 am from Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown with Rev. C. Anthony Miller as Celebrant.  Viewing will be Friday evening from 6-8 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with the Rosary being recited at 7:30 pm.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Central Pennsylvania www.lls.org.
